Last.FM - Music Fans Need This!

If you are a fan of my music or any music in general, get Last.FM . I am not endorsed by them in any way, i just think its a cool site for music fans.

Basically Last.FM is an internet radio site that connects you with the artists. My favorite part about it is, when u play a song on your ipod, or your computer, it can sync this info to your profile and you can see how many times u listened to an artist or a specific song, (it also adds these plays to the artists profile)
Its really cool to see how often you listen to an artists and just see all the stats they do.
for a better example, just check out my profile http://www.last.fm/user/Ross8ch

its all free, and takes like 2 minutes to setup

Plus you Get Free Ross 8ch Music Downloads

So what YOU need to do is
  1. Create an account (Its FREE) - Go to http://www.last.fm
  2. Download the Scrobbler - http://www.last.fm/download  (this syncs your songs)
  3. Follow the steps on the screen and your done
Now when you plug in your ipod to the computer it will ask if u want to "scrobb" the songs to your profile, do this always!

"How do you think up those lyrics?"

I like my lyrics to be personal. I love connecting and relating with my listeners. At the end of the day we are all human, we all have some similar outlooks, and experience some similar things. Such as Death, Love, and Health. I like using this to create a song that the listener can relate to. Off course there are always some expectations where i want to write catchy fun songs, such as "My Teacher".

Inspiration for a song can spring from many things, Ive had many occasions where i am brushing my teeth and a song ideas pops in my head. I write it down and create a song based upon it.  My song "Figured You Out" for example, i was arguing with a girl through text messaging and i told her "You just don't like that i figured you out". and from that, the song was born, i wrote the whole song off that one line.

I used to always find a beat, listen to it, and write the song depending on the vibe i get from the beat. Now that i produce my own beats, most of the time i do it backwards, i write a song, then create the beat around the song i wrote. It works really good, but because i do the entire process now (Make the Beat, Write the song, Go to the studio and record it) it shortens the amount of tracks i can put out in a period of time. But remember Quality over Quantity.

If you are someone who is interested in writing songs, just do a quick Google search of "How to write a song" and you will find tons of useful articles.
